Scoping
Up to one hour, free of charge, to clarify your needs and put them in writing.
In a free meeting lasting up to one hour, we look at how you work today: the people involved, available data, rules and bottlenecks. The information needed for a quote is put in writing. If the issue needs deeper analysis, I propose a separate process review with a written report. You decide whether to commission it before any paid work begins.

Quote and deposit
A fixed price and written scope for you to approve before work starts.
The quote specifies the expected outcome, deliverables, exclusions, fixed price, indicative schedule and included support. Work begins once the quote is approved, the agreed deposit is received and the necessary materials are available. Any extension to the scope requires a written, priced agreement.

Design and development
A working version to check decisions against your examples.
I define the screens, processing rules and data exchanges based on the agreed scope, then build the solution. A working version lets us check those decisions against your examples. Depending on the project, we validate a mock-up, a user journey or an initial workflow before proceeding.

Validation
We test together and resolve departures from the quote before delivery.
During a validation meeting, we test the solution against the agreed scenarios: expected data, processing rules, outputs and user journeys. Any departures from the quote are corrected before delivery. New requirements are quoted separately.

Handover, training and support
The agreed access, code and documentation are handed over. Training and support for the delivered scope are included.
Following delivery and the agreed payment, you receive the access, code and documentation specified in the quote, along with training on the solution. Support for the delivered scope is included: 1 month for a website, 2 months for an automation and 3 months for an application. Provided by email on business days, it covers issues within that scope, usage questions and help getting started after training. New features, unplanned data migration and incidents caused by external changes or third-party services are excluded. A separate maintenance contract is available after this period.
